Hibiscus

Eye Candy

Hibiscus plants are treasured for their large, vibrant blooms. Each Hibiscus flower opens for 24 hours. When one bloom closes, another one opens. Although these hibiscus flowers are recommended for ornamental purposes, hibiscus is also well known for its culinary and medicinal applications. Hibiscus may be grown outdoors during the summer, but must be overwintered indoors when temperature drops below 10°C (50°F).
